The Grade 7s at my JHS had a guest speaker today. He spoke to them about the dangers of smoking. Just before the seminar, 3 teachers grabbed a quick smoke in the smoking corner of our staffroom.
Yes, they are allowed to smoke in the staffroom -even when there are students present.

It was not THAT long ago that they still had student smoking rooms in the schools here....well, okay, maybe it was (when I was in High School). But hopefully once the reform starts there, it will take off like it did here. They banned smoking in public places in Swan Hills (one of the last strongholds) last year! THAT is amazing! If it can happen here, it can happen anywhere.
